While there is Life, there is Hope

I found this piece of stencil art on a wall in Balaklava, Crimea when walking to the Russian nuclear submarine base.

While some may perceive this as rather sad, I found it inspirational – what it says to me  is to never give up. Looking at everything that’s going on around the world, sometimes it seems like the planet itself is throwing up its arms in despair. But I agree with this simple piece of street art – while there’s life, there’s still hope.

  1. I love this photo. The fact that you came across it by a nuclear submarine base is very poetic. The human spirit is a lot stronger than we think, I don’t think humanity will falter even though our world is increasingly corrupt.

  2. Very powerful piece , small innocent child holding out a poster with such a simple yet meaningful message . Looking at the world through the eyes of a child is often a great reminder to the rest of us that things often are not as bad as they may seem.

I'm curious about your thoughts!
